Days At The Morisaki Bookshop is a heartwarming book which is based in a Japanese used-bookshop called Morisaki Bookshop in the quiet, calm and bookshop-filled neighbourhood called Jimbocho Neighbourhood in Tokyo, Japan. The story follows 25-year old Takako, who after a heartbreak from her boyfriend, decides to go to her uncle’s used-bookshop which has been in their family for years. There she gradually develops a reading habit and also helps out at the store when her uncle goes to hospital every morning. Her uncle supported her a lot. Over the course she got a new boyfriend named Akira Wada(Wada for short)Then a fine day, Satoru’s(Takako’s uncle)wife who went away five years ago came back. Her name was Momoko and she was a kind, little lady. The following weeks Takako and Momoko go on a trip. It follows all the ups and downs in their lives. Overall, the book was beyond words and it was so good. I would give it a 10/10 and I mean it. It was written by Satoshi Yagisawa in Japanese and translated into English by Eric Ozawa. It would surely arouse an extreme love for books.
